Before I had Emrie I never thought I would want to be a stay at home mom. But about two weeks after she was born, I felt differently. I understand that not everyone has the opportunity or desire to stay home, but it has been a HUGE blessing for our family.
I was home when Emrie took her first steps. I stayed up with her all night as she got her first tooth. I checked out her first library books. I made all her baby food (you know how that went:). I take her on walks and play at the park.
When Phil comes home dinner is ready (well, my version of dinner) and the house is clean (usually). I can run errands during the day that we would have to do after work, but now it is less stressful.
I love being at home serving my daughter and my husband! I feel very blessed and privileged to be able to stay home!!!
