Evolution of Emrie's Nursery

After finishing the curtains in Emrie's room today I began thinking about her bedroom journey. In 1 year, my poor kid has had 3 different nurseries. I think it is safe to say that this third one will be her final nursery before she moves into a big girl room. Whether that big girl room is in this house or not is another story (no we don't plan to move again, but hey, I didn't plan to move 4 times in 4 years either).

I have been thinking about puting a brown tree behind the letters behind the crib. Phil said it would make the room look too cluttered. What do you think?

I like her room, but it is a little too gender neuteral (that was done intentionally so I could use it again for all our kids in case we have a boy), but I can't WAIT to make her big girl room because it will be SUPER girly!!!
