There Is No Fall In California

We spent the first week in California gearing up for all things wedding, but the second week we were there was all about spending time with my parents, Oma and Opa.  Phil had to go back to work (someone has to pay for all our adventures haha) so it was just the girls and I.

Since we would not be coming back out again for Thanksgiving or Christmas, we packed as much excitement into one trip as we could!

Emrie went to run errands with Opa and ended up building an airplane at Home Depot's Kids Workshop and talked Opa into this Sophia shirt:)

 

I got to go on a few long runs, which is a luxury most of the time

 

 Trips to the doughnut shop almost daily

 

Watching the dogs run around

 

Spent the day at the beach with Lesley and Peyton

Maybe my favorite part of the trip was snuggling with this kid every night!

 

Other than Disneyland...the best part of the trip was yet to take place.  More on that tomorrow!
