Hibiscus Headband

I originally intended to do a full week of headbands, but I'll be on a plane tomorrow! For my final day of headbands, I am making an Hibiscus style flower in honor of our trip to Hawaii!  Wouldn't this look adorable on a baby in Maui...I'll just look at the pictures while we are enjoying our kid free vacation instead:)

Start with 5 rectangular pieces of felt and cut the tops in a petal shape
Using a hot glue gun, place some glue in the middle of each petal and pinch it in half
Now place a dot of hot glue on each of side of the back and fold the sides back
Complete all 5 petals (and a green leaf if you want)
Glue all 5 petals together in the center
Embellish with a pearl or any other centerpiece that you wish and a green leaf if you'd like
Sew (or hot glue) the elastic headband together
Glue the flower to the headband
Use a strip or circle of felt to glue over the headband to the back of the flower
 Hibiscus flower headband
Just find a cute baby to wear it:)

Ahhhh....Hawaii!!!

See you when we get back!
